Hello!
Today’s challenge is:
Turn Off The Water While Brushing Your Teeth
According to EPA Water Sense for Kids website, brushing your teeth with the water running the entire time wastes about ‘200 gallons a month, enough to fill a huge fish tank that holds 6 small sharks!’
From the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), “The ocean holds 97 percent of the Earth's water; the remaining three percent is freshwater found in glaciers and ice, below the ground, or in rivers and lakes. Of the world's total water supply of about 326 million cubic miles of water, over 96 percent is saline, found in the ocean.”
This does not only waste water but it also wastes money.
I just found this pdf on water usage so check it out!
