Why?
Here are some statistics that help show how going without paper towels can make a big impact.
Every day, more than 3,000 tons of paper towel waste is produced in the U.S. alone*! To make one ton of paper towels, 17 trees and 20,000 gallons of water are polluted.
Used paper towels are virtually impossible to recycle and greatly contribute to this next statistic:
40% of US landfills is paper product waste.
Using rags instead of paper towels also saves money!
It really isn't that hard to cut back!
